STAR

Star had a very hard start to her life. When she was born, she had no heartbeat, and she was not breathing. Our vet said, as he took her out during the c-section, that this one was gone already. I could not accept that, and started trying to revive her. For what seemed like hours, she finally lifted up a hand, showing me that she was alive, but she was still purple in color. Now I could not give up. Star lived, and what a blessing. She is the happiest girl, the sweetest and so very playful. She had a short show career, but she was not happy in the ring, showing would not be a part of her life. I would never force her to do something she did not like. She just loves her new life now, a life of leisure.
Only 5 days old

15 days old, and Star's eye's just opened. Welcome to the world, little one.

Time sure flies! Star is 5 weeks old here.

Now I know why Star loves toys so much, she started her life with toys!

At 4 months, Star just thinks she is so cute, well, truth is, she is cute.

Star is all ready for her first show. What a beautiful baby.

I took Star on a plane, down to Long Beach, CA, for some shows. We shared a hotel room with Elvis, her brother and his mother. Star just loved Elvis's bed. She would get under the pillow part, when playing with Elvis, and pop her head out, bark at Elvis, and pop right back under to hide from him. She was playing peek-a-boo.

Star is 1 year old. She sure looks like Mira.

Star's hair grew very fast. She was about 9 months old in this picture.

Since Star did not enjoy showing, she got her hair cut, and she just loves her new look. She is so happy now.
